Hello Friends:

Our industry, our neighbors and our event venue have been hard hit by Sandy. It is because of these extenuating circumstances we have decided to cancel our November 12th event. 

Our venue still does not have electricity and due to water damage cannot confirm when it will be back. Many of our chefs/bartenders are directing their time and energy (rightfully so) toward relief efforts. We entertained the thought of trying to find a home at another venue, however, it all feels like too much and the wrong time, and we wanted to make the call sooner than later. 

A few notes:

• We may have an opportunity to reschedule this event in early December. We should know by early next week. 
• We are diverting some of the time and resources we've already dedicated to this event to relief efforts. We will be collecting donations, raising money, getting out to the sites and are partnering with Atlantic City chapter for more long-term rebuilding efforts. Please let me know if you'd like to get involved or contribute to the effort. 

Those of you who know me, know this was not a decision that was made lightly.
