DLR Group\'s sleep upgrade honors the bones of a former Grand Rapids warehouse
Dubbed \"Furniture City,\" Grand Rapids, Michigan boasts a woodworking legacy first spawned in the 1830s with finely wrought cabinetry. To honor the craftsmanship that fueled this one-time epicenter of American furniture production, guests of the AC Hotel by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown are greeted by a lobby filled with pieces from notable Herman Miller designers like an Eames Lounge Chair and Noguchi coffee table.
