In May of 2009, Stylus Furniture is happy to announce there 50th year anniversary. Kimberly’s entrepreneurial spirit existed long before she knew what entrepreneurial meant. Before starting with Stylus Furniture, Kimberly was involved in a family business for over 10 years. Working in a family business has taught Kimberly to be organized, ready and reliable and always prepared to be the best at everything. She strongly believes that the word "benefit" now has as considerable amount of meaning in these changing times. She understands the philosophy of maximum return and the strong importance of service in the new millennium. She has a goal setting outlook for the future with a "Can-Do" attitude, confidently fulfilling all requirements, procedures and responsibilities. In year 2008, in a restructuring of their Contract Sales Division, Stylus Made to Order Sofas has appointed Kimberly Sontowski to the post of Contract Sales Manager. She advances from the roll of Contract Sales Coordinator. Her new responsibilities include managing both the Canadian and US Contract sales forces, trade shows and overseeing major house accounts. She is also an integral part of the product development team. Last November, Kimberly joined the NEWH organizing committee board for Vancouver. She was recently appointed a board position where she will be rendering Director of Memberships. Being involved with NEWH has given Kimberly a new challenge to look forward to as the economy is ever changing. Believe it or not, Kimberly considers the change in economy will be something to look forward too and build up from. She is excited as to what NEWH will bring to Vancouver!

He has since transitioned from marketing into specification sales and now provides lighting solutions to all members within the design industry, specifically in hospitality. Derek’s keen eye on the latest trends combined with his years of experience in lighting provides unique approaches to lighting solutions. He always looks forward to the next party building a vast social network that includes many clients whom initially started as professional colleagues but are now close friends. In 2005, Derek acquired a certificate in Marketing Management – Public Relations from BCIT. During his downtime, Derek can be found at the gym or running the Stanley Park seawall in Vancouver plugged into his iPod. When not being active he loves to share a laugh with a friend at a local café.
